Celine Dion denounces fake AI music as she makes surprise appearances

Céline Dion recently addressed concerns about unauthorized AI-generated music featuring her likeness and voice, reported TODAY. In a statement posted on her Instagram on March 7, she clarified that she is not connected to any such recordings, which she described as fake and unapproved. The statement highlighted that these tracks do not belong to her official discography.

While she did not specify any particular instance of misuse, Dion made headlines for a more positive reason earlier this week. During a TGL golf match, she spontaneously sang “My Heart Will Go On” after being asked by ESPN reporter Marty Smith about which of her songs best represented her golf game. She humorously adjusted the lyrics, singing, “I believe that my ball will go on.”

Dion has been less active in music since announcing her diagnosis of stiff person syndrome in 2022, which led to the suspension of her performances. However, she made a surprise appearance at the opening ceremony of the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, where she performed “Hymne à l’amour.” Following her performance, she expressed her joy at returning to Paris and celebrated the athletes' dedication and hard work, encouraging them to stay focused on their dreams.
