The final season of Stranger Things arrives in three parts — and the next two drops are set right during the holidays. According to the latest announcement, Volume 2 — comprised of three episodes — will launch on December 25, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. Pacific / 8:00 p.m. Eastern in the United States,according to Forbes. 

Then comes the grand finale: Volume 3, the concluding full‑length episode, will be released on December 31, 2025, at the same time (5 p.m. PT / 8 p.m. ET). Netflix is giving fans more than just a streaming event: the final episode will also be shown — for a limited time — in selected theaters across the United States and Canada. 

This staggered release schedule continues the pattern set earlier this year, when the first four episodes (Volume 1) debuted on November 26, 2025. 

For viewers who prefer to plan ahead across different time zones, these dates align globally with Netflix’s standard simultaneous‐drop times (i.e. 5 p.m. PT / 8 p.m. ET), which will translate to local times around the world. 

This release strategy — spreading the season across Thanksgiving (in the U.S.), Christmas, and New Year’s Eve — builds anticipation and gives the final season of Stranger Things a cinematic feel, especially with the finale’s theatrical screenings.
