Emily in Paris Season 5: New Cities, Hairstyles, and Drama Await
Netflix is set to continue Emily Cooper’s European adventures with Season 5 of Emily in Paris, premiering on December 18. Unlike Season 4, which was split into two parts, the upcoming season will drop all 10 episodes at once, allowing fans to binge the latest chapter in Emily’s life as a marketing expert and fashion enthusiast.
This time, Emily leaves Paris behind, moving to Rome, Italy, where she takes the reins as head of Agence Grateau Rome. Venice also joins the story as a fresh backdrop, promising new visuals and experiences for the beloved protagonist. According to Netflix, Emily will face both professional and personal challenges as she adjusts to life in her new city.
“She leans into her French lifestyle for stability, but a work-related setback triggers heartbreak and career complications,” Netflix’s summary reveals. Emily must navigate conflicts with honesty, uncover secrets that threaten her closest relationships, and ultimately emerge with renewed clarity, deeper connections, and a readiness for new possibilities.
In first-look images, Lily Collins appears with the bob haircut she debuted at the end of Season 4, signaling another style evolution for Emily, who previously made a point of sporting bangs. The photos hint at Emily’s signature fashion-forward approach, even amid upheaval, according to Deadline.
Darren Star returns as creator, writer, and executive producer for the fifth season, alongside executive producers Tony Hernandez, Lilly Burns, Andrew Fleming, Stephen Brown, Alison Brown, Robin Schiff, Grant Sloss, and Joe Murphy. Collins also serves as a producer, ensuring her vision for Emily continues to shine.
The main cast remains largely intact, with Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu as Sylvie Grateau, Ashley Park as Mindy Chen, Lucas Bravo as Gabriel, Samuel Arnold as Julien, Bruno Gouery as Luc, William Abadie as Antoine Lambert, Lucien Laviscount as Alfie, Eugenio Franceschini as Marcello, Thalia Besson as Genevieve, Paul Forman as Nico, and Arnaud Binard as Laurent G.
Season 5 also introduces new faces, including Minnie Driver as Princess Jane, Bryan Greenberg as Jake, and Michèle Laroque as Yvette, adding fresh dynamics and intrigue to Emily’s world.
With new cities, updated looks, and the same mix of romance, fashion, and career drama fans love, Emily in Paris Season 5 promises an exciting continuation of Emily Cooper’s journey.
