A reboot of "Melrose Place," the cult series from the 80s, is in preparation

"Melrose Place" is coming back. Indeed, the famous 90s series, created by Darren Star, will be getting a reboot with three actors important from the original series:

The first being Heather Locklear (initially revealed by the soap opera "Dynasty"), who participated in the entire series, which she practically joined from the beginning. From season 6 until the end of the series in 1989, the actress then had a regular role, appearing in a total of 124 episodes.

Laura Leighton, who participated in the first five seasons of the series, a role that earned her a nomination for the Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress in a Series, Miniseries, or Television Film.

Daphne Zuniga, who was present during the first four seasons and has also appeared in other series like "American Dreams," "Beautiful People," and "One Tree Hill."

In fact, "Melrose Place" had already received a first reboot in 2009. This new reboot will be written by Lauren Gussis, creator and executive producer of the Netflix series "Insatiable" that follows Patty Bladell (played by Debby Ryan), a teenager who was bullied for being overweight. After losing weight due to a jaw injury, she seeks revenge on those who mistreated her, with the help of a disgraced civil lawyer named Bob Armstrong (played by Dallas Roberts)In fact.

The new version of "Melrose place" will follow the residents of the Melrose Place neighborhood several years later, reunited to honor the death of one of their friends.
