Kylie Minogue announces a tour and a new album

Australian singer Kylie Minogue has just announced a tour, called the "Tension Tour," and a new album, "Tension II," a year after releasing "Tension."

"You have no idea how difficult it was to keep all the planning and preparation a secret. But the time has come, and I can't wait," shared Kylie Minogue in a post on X (formerly Twitter) on Thursday, announcing a 2025 tour titled "Tension Tour".

The Australian singer also revealed a new album, Tension II, a follow-up to "Tension" which was released a year ago and featured the huge hit "Padam Padam," which became the anthem of Pride Month in 2023.

Featuring nine tracks, this sequel will be released on October 18, with the first single from the album scheduled for release on September 27.

"So far, we've had an exhilarating experience. Now, get ready for your close-up, because I'm going to say 'Lights, camera, action'... and there will be plenty of 'Padaming!'" promised the singer.

BFMTV reports that the first tour dates have been announced, taking the singer to stages in Perth, her home in Australia, Sydney, as well as in Asia (Bangkok, Tokyo, Manila), and then to the UK (Manchester, Liverpool, and London).
