Tariq Bitar is a good man, a good judge, honest and dedicated. It looks like his investigation of the Beirut port explosion is a mission and not only a job. I wish there would be so many others like him in our judiciary system or running the country.

Sadly, there aren’t many. Really very few.

Unfortunately, he will never succeed as long as the country is occupied by Iran and its thugs and criminal allies. He will be stopped from doing anything right. He could be killed as a matter of fact. Murdered by these criminals whose names you know as they hold high official positions in the state. They brought in the nitrate, made tons of money out of it, stored ammunition and weapons under it inside the warehouse. They will not hesitate a moment if it gets to kill the honest judge who discovered their act, or even to blow up the whole country if needed. They did it many times over and will do it again and again.

The good news about this drama is: Who needs any investigation now? They have largely incriminated themselves by their acts and behavior. They are clearly in the open now.

This does not diminish the tragic side of this conclusion. Just to ponder on a couple of names makes you puke: Fenianos, a protégé of Frangiah , soon to be president of the republic, eventually. Badry Daher, also protégé of Bassil, a presidential dreamer. Saliba, Michel Aoun’s dear boy. And last but not least, Judge Oweidat, himself, related to Berry, two former ministers part of the Iranian representatives in Lebanon. So on and so forth…

Justice will not be served in the near future. It could be served though if we fight enough to oust the Iranians. But we are not. We only meet and tweet. “Paroles paroles paroles”. The Patriarch is insisting on getting a president elected and as soon as possible, even if he could be the aforementioned Frangiah. Simply because he is Maronite. Other so-called sovereignty seekers are doing the same and calling for an immediate election, as if they don’t know it is a losing game, and that we would be better off without a president. « On récolte ce que l'on sème » they say in French.

I have warned on and on and on that the economy will collapse brutally. And it is happening right now. Nobody cared. Nobody even read my forewarnings. Nobody is even reading this note.
