A passing reflection
The reasons and causes of the disaster we are living through still exist. They are still there. Unfortunately, it is the same reasons that are currently preventing us from getting out of it. An allowed and tolerated occupation. Inadequate opposition. Corrupt Leaders of all kinds. A mercantile and submissive people. The list goes on...
All upheavals usually generate a hero, a savior, a guide. A subject that is particularly dear to me and the result of long written reflections.
De Gaulle in France, Churchill in the United Kingdom, Béchir Gemayel and Rafic Hariri in Lebanon, and Zelenski recently in Ukraine. This list spans centuries of history worldwide.
Here in Lebanon: Zero. Nothing. Nihil in Latin.
The same people still reign. Observe them. The same: a few less hairs or baldness, but always the same with their haughty air and empty promises. Noisy and useless talk shows. Thousands of WhatsApp groups where paper tigers clash. Even the so-called revolution has only produced fools, champions of stupid parades who haunt social media.
Why? The reason?
