Christina Aguilera will perform at the Expo 2020 Dubai closing ceremony on March 31, alongside Norah Jones and cellist Yo-Yo Ma, in bringing the six-month-long festival to an end

According to Arab News, Christina Aguilera will perform at the Expo 2020 Dubai closing ceremony on March 31 among a star-studded lineup of performers, bringing the six-month-long event to a close with a bang.

Among those scheduled to perform are Christina Aguilera and Norah Jones, as well as famous cellist Yo-Yo Ma.

The series of performances will begin at 7 p.m. with Mira Singh, an Indo-Belarusian performer who previously played during the opening ceremony. Following Singh's performance, at 8:45 p.m., award-winning cellist Yo-Yo Ma will perform at Dubai Millennium Amphitheatre.

Later, at 9:00 p.m., singer-songwriter and pianist Jones will take the Jubilee Stage to perform chart-topping tunes such as "Don't Know Why" and "Come Away With Me."

The concerts will conclude with a performance by worldwide pop diva Christina Aguilera, who will take the stage at 10:45 p.m. on the Jubilee Stage.

The singers follow in the footsteps of one of the many major musicians and bands that have played at the Expo in the last six months, including Coldplay, the Black Eyed Peas, and Jason Derulo, who all performed live over the weekend.

Local artists in the closing ceremony include the UAE-based children's choir and the all-female Firdaus Orchestra, which will perform the UAE national song.

For those who have Expo tickets, the concerts are free to attend, and admittance is on a first come, first served basis.

To broadcast the concerts, more than 20 massive screens will be constructed across the Expo grounds.

At 12:00 a.m. and 3:00 a.m., Dubai will wave farewell to the Expo with spectacular fireworks displays.
