Christie's, Sotheby's, and Bonhams have cancelled sales of Russian art in London in June, As a punishment of Russia's invasion of Ukraine

Christie's, Sotheby's, and Bonhams have all announced that they would not be selling Russian art in London in June, as part of the art market's response to Western sanctions imposed on Russia as a result of its invasion.

The auction houses hold sales of Russian art in June and November in a period known as "Russian Art Week", attracting wealthy Russian buyers.
