New update iOS 26.0.1 addresses connectivity and photo issues for iPhone users

Apple has announced the release of its new update, iOS 26.0.1 for iPhones and iPadOS 26.0.1 for iPads, marking the first minor update for the recently launched operating systems.

Eligible users can download the update by going to "Settings," then tapping on "General," and selecting "Software Update."

According to Apple's official notes, the update addresses a number of technical bugs and security issues, including:

Fixing intermittent Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity issues on iPhone 17 and iPhone Air.Resolving difficulties in connecting to cellular networks after installing iOS 26.Correcting unexpected distortions in photos taken with iPhone 17 under certain lighting conditions.Fixing a glitch that caused app icons to appear empty when customizing colors.Addressing a problem that disabled the VoiceOver feature for some users after the previous update.

For the iPadOS 26.0.1 update, similar fixes were made for the VoiceOver feature, as well as addressing a glitch with the floating keyboard that was changing its position unexpectedly.

Additionally, the company has provided another update, iOS 18.7.1, for devices not eligible to receive the iOS 26.0.1 update, ensuring ongoing security fixes and support for its devices.

It is worth noting that Apple did not introduce any new features in this update; it focuses entirely on improving stability and addressing vulnerabilities. These fixes are part of the regular updates the company releases to maintain a stable user experience.
